MICHAEL JACKSON MOVIE TODAY!
Thank you Mr. Friedman
Max Friedman is my best friend. He is always there for me, whether I need him or not. I cannot believe that something like this could happen to him. His dad, Mark passed away this weekend. I am in shock. I cant sleep, talk or do anything. I can’t immagine the kind of pain they must be going through. but I know that this family is SOOOO strong and they will get through this together with the help of family and friends. But I hurt so much for Max and his family. They are the nicest people, and I am so thankful that I know them. I have so many amazing memories with Ma and his family. I don’t know his sister very well but she is really nice. Rest in Peace Mr. Friedman, and thank you so much for Max. I don’t know who I would be without him. I love you all so much.
Chicken for Sally
So my friend Sally wants me to write about how we spent our time before everyone got to the temple. So the staff took us to a room and in that room were drinks, apples and a HUGE plate/tray of chick-fil-a chicken nuggets. We hadn’t had food for hours so we were pretty hungry. We took the tray of chicken into the teen lounge and ate. We ate and ate and ate. Before we knew it, the 7 of us had the whole tray. there was like, 200 nuggets I think! Later we found out that those were the appetizers for everyone….oh well
Fall Conclave!!!!!!!!!!
I just got back from fall conclave in Houston, TX and I had a blast! When we (OKATYites) got to Temple Emanuel, we were there about three hours before everyone got there. Thank goodness that the Emanuel teen lounge had a HUGE sofa, so the seven of us Okies got to rest and eat before everyone got there. When my friends got there, obviously there was a hugggggggggggge hugging fest and we all got a chance to catch up with each other. The first person that i saw from camp is my friend Jacob. Shortly after came Alyssa, Isabel and Joanna. Others came in slowly but by the time it was about 6:00 pm, we were all there. We had tons of programs and we got to do a lot of fun stuff. There wasn’t as much drama as I thought there would be, but I guess thats a good thing. The activities and programs and parties were over at around 11 or 11:30 pm, and then it was off to Joanna’s house. Me and Isabel and Joanna and Alyssa made our friend Rachael, who couldnt make it to the conclave, a 20 minute video on Facebook. we sang her songs and we talked about all the things she missed. We got to sleep at about 2:30 or 3:00 am, but we had to wake up at 7:00. Needless to say, we were all exhausted. But that day was fun. For free time, we went to Josh and Alyssa’s homecoming game and we got to see more people and I got to meet Alyssa and Josh’s friends. We had fun! But then we went to the mall and guess what? We saw more people! We saw the Klein twins and we saw an Israeli that works at our camp. That night at the temple, we had dinner and we saw a Rick Recht concert. I must say that the most excited to see Rick perform were Brandon and Eli. Big shocker. They screamed like little babies durring the concert. During the concert I got to chill with my friends Max Evan and Jeff. We had fun. after the concert, we all got to take pictures with RR and of course, Eli looked the most excited. After the concert, there was the party. Max Isabel and I did karaoke for a few hours, then we just walked around. The next morning, we watched the video of the weekend and had a friendship circle. The sad thing is that OKATY had to leave early to catch the plane. so when we left all our friends stood up and the goodbyes took abut 20 minutes. then we went out to the lobby to wait for the car to take us to the airport but guess what? It didn’t show until the frinedship circle was over. We got to say goodbye again.
I get closer to each of these people evry time I see them. I miss them so much and I wish I were will there with all of them. But hey, I’ll be in Houston in December and January for more visits and conclaves! I love everyone in NFTY and esp. my closest friends. xoxo!
Rest in Peace
My love and condolences are with the Fisher family and all those in the reformed community. Tracy ment a lot to a lot of people, and she will be missed. xoxo shfty
Carly and Me
Well Carly has been my best friend for about 7 years. I can still remember our first convo-
We were at camp, my second year, here third. We both had top bunks and there was one bed between us. She said ” You’re so far away!”
And that is the story. Ever since then, we have grown together, laughed cried and made memories together.
We talk in the Bruce voice, eat blueberry scones and talk about everything together. I don’t even know how to describe this girl to anyone. But I am so happy and blessed that I know this gurr! (rotem)
wait one second. I am on the phone with Carly as I am typing and she made up a song about ice cream men that has a long story behind it but for the sake of her embarrassment and my dignity for this blog, I wont tell the story.
“He knows when you are sleeping, he knows when your awake, he knows if youve been bad or good so be good for goodness sake, HEY! ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh youuuuuuu betteah not shout, you bettah not cryyyayayayaya you better not pout I’m tellin you whyiaiiiiiiii, cuz the ice cream man is commin (sing it) the ice cream man is commin(amen!) that big fat ice cream man is comingggggg…..togetyou……
Carly is my jewish friend and for some strange reason, she makes up songs that are really scary and weird and puts them with jolly carols. what’s up with that Carly?
LOVEEE YOU CARLAYYY from,

NFTY TOR FALL CONCLAVE!!!!
Alright, so as all the NFTYites know, there is only 4 DAYS LEFT UNTIL FALL CONCLAVE! I am reallllllly excited to see my friends again. There will be drama, no doubt, but we’ll see what happens. Drama can make things exciting
There will be unsolved problems that hopefully everyone can sort out. But I think that no matter what problems we have, we will still all love each other dearly.
I hope that everyone from GFC can go to at least on event this year.
