I’TS MACCABIA!!!
Maccabia is a two day color war that takes place the first weekend of camp. The staff trys to keep it a secret by saying that “There won’t be a maccabia this year,” or “We don’t have it this session” but we all know that its gonna happen. This year I was on the blue team with one of my best friends, Max. This year was my last maccabia, because next year, I will be on kibbutz, wchich is the oldest unit. So being our last maccabia, our team leaders let us lead most of the cheers and carry responisbility for our team. Cheering is a big part of maccabia, so the first night, we all lost our voices. But it was worth it. In the end, our blue team won . it was a great last maccabia.
